Cute Cats and Activism and Censorship

Very interesting article, and the other related articles are interesting too.  The tl;dr version is that cute cats help political activism because if you’re trying to censor the activism and you end up censoring the cute cats, people will notice and get mad and learn to bypass your censorship.  China is able to succeed in its censorship because it does the censorship based on language barriers.
