New Canon and Nikon cameras

Haven’t been keeping up with the photo news but got an email from B&H announcing the new Nikon and Canon cameras coming out in a month.  Nikon’s camera finally has a video mode though supposedly not very good (but hey, better than nothing).  Canon’s is a more standard upgrade.  More megapixels, better high ISO shots, new image processor, etc.  The OTHER really interesting news for me is that the Canon 18-200mm IS lens has finally been announced.  Shame that it doesn’t have USM, but supposedly it doesn’t have a rotating front which means that I would actually be able to use all filter types.  If the quality is good, then I may replace my 18-55mm and 55-250mm with that, but only if it’s really better (it would make my bag lighter too, from reducing the number of lenses by one).
