Watched this a few days ago. After watching it, all I can say is, what took me so long?
So yeah, that means I throughly enjoyed it. It’s an adaptation of a comic about an actual battle (the Battle of Thermopylae). As such, it has a more fantasy feel to the whole thing. In fact, and I think I’ve heard others describe it this way before, it’s like watching a video game. I think a lot of it is their usage of colors, time manipulation, general camera angles, and rock music. And a lot of the characters, well, they pretty much look like boss characters.
It’s just a very stylish film in general that performs its role as entertainment perfectly.
